چکیده
By W. J. Mrn s, L. J. BERGNA, I. B. MEDNICOFF AND WI. DAMESHEK I HE RESULTS of a number of studlies of glycogen content of the lymphocytes and related cells ( lymphoblasts, atypical lymphocytes, “lymphosarcoma” cells ) indicate that this metabolic component may have both clinical and theoretical importance. Wislocki,1 Storti,2 and, more recently, Astaldi and Verga3 observed an increase of glycogen in lymphocytes of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. One of us ( L.J.B. ) noted that it was similarly increased in the lymphocytic cells of patients with lymphosarcoma. The present investigation is concerned with further studies of the content of this metabolite in both benign and malignant lymphocytic proliferations.

Analysis of HLA-G Gene Expression in B-Lymphocytes from Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Patients
The human leukocyte antigen G (HLA-G) molecule exhibits limited tissue distribution, low polymorphism and alternative splicings that generate seven HLA-G isoforms. HLA-G exerts multiple immunoregulatory functions. Recent studies indicate an ectopic up-regulation in tumor cells that may favor their escape from anti-tumor immune responses. This study it is an effort to clarify the presence of HLA...

متن کاملIN VITRO STUDY OF AN ENDOGENOUS IMMUNOSUPPRESSOR FACTOR DERIVED FROM HUMAN OR BOVINE SERUM
The effects of the human and bovine LSF (derived from sera) as well as their purified fractions were studied on murine lymphocytes reactions indicated by blast transformation (BT) assay, mixed lymphocyte culture (MLC) and IgG synthesis. The results indicated that bovine lipid suppressor factor (LSF) has significant immunosuppressive activity on lymphocytes proliferation both in BT and MLC ...
